Donations from our charity list significantly reduce the cost of building a placement package for a child in need. This month we are asking for backpacks.
All donations are tax deductible and greatly appreciated!

4 Placement Package Requests came in over the weekend, then 2 more came in while I was shopping!
Placement Packages serve as our first contact with many local foster families and it’s a great way for us to get to know them. We find the needs and do our best to meet them.
5 Placement Packages going out today and we couldn’t have done it without our supporters!
Thanks for helping us serve kids in foster care in DFW!
We are so happy to help these families, but we need help in able to do it! Please consider making a donation! www.marismission.org/donate
We had so much fun enjoy a @rangers game with 150 foster parents/Mari’s Mission supporters!
We are so thankful for this opportunity to get out and spend time with other foster parents and watch them have fun with their families!
This is precisely why we deliver placement packages within 3 days.
.
Not only does the child have something that belongs to them but they’ll get 3 days worth of brand new and personalized clothing, pajamas, water bottle/baby bottle, socks, underwear, shampoo, bubble bath, a Bible, other children’s books, and an encouraging book for the foster parents.
Foster Care (un)Fun Facts are a sobering reminder of the need to support Foster Families. When a foster family feels supported/equipped their retention rate skyrockets to 90%!
The way to build a better life for kids in foster care is to support and equip foster families! 💜🦊💜
July 30th would be Mari’s 7th birthday, which means the entire month of July is hard for our family.
We try to focus on the positives and how we can help others in her honor. One of the ways we do that is by delivering Placement Packages to foster families when they welcome a new placement.
Our Amazon Charity list has many of the items that we need (with the exception of clothing, because that is bought specifically for each child) would you consider helping us as we remember Mari this month?

Hey baseball fans! Let’s enjoy a rangers game together!
If you’re an active foster family with placements in your home, shoot us an email and we will and we will get you the details.
Only request tickets if you’re positive that you can make it, otherwise you’ll be disqualified future events.
As our funds get lower, I’m tempted to worry or stress, but then I remember that I’m 100% confident in our mission, that the Lord has called us to this work and that He’s not done with us yet.
The backbone of our operation is the people who also believe in the mission and support us. Whether it’s a single gift or monthly donations, they all help us build a better life for kids in foster care. Would you join us?
Our mission is to support and equip foster families so that they can stay licensed.
We need your help in order to keep going, because our funds are getting very low. Monthly donors are the best way to help us keep going, would you consider supporting Mari’s Mission?
So far this year we’ve delivered over 30 placement packages, helped a family take in a sibling set of 5 kiddos, purchased strollers for 2 sets of twins, partnered with the Texas Rangers for a foster care baseball outing and tons more!
Our funds are running low, which limits what we can do for local foster families. Would you consider becoming a monthly donor? Our generous donors “keep the lights on” for Mari’s Mission and we can’t do anything without the help of people who believe in our cause!

Our Spring Shirt Fundraiser is live!
Ecclesiastes 3:12 tells us to “be joyful & do good!” So here we are, standing in the gap for kids in foster care and holding hands with foster families.
Our goal for this fundraiser is to allow us to put more effort into the support and equipping of foster parents with events for them to meet other active foster parents.
Would you consider joining us as we build a better life for kids in foster care?

We’ve already gotten 17 Placement Package requests this year!
It’s amazing to walk along side so many foster families and remind them that they are not alone. The only issue is that WE NEED HELP!
Financially, we cannot keep up at this pace, we will soon be out of funds even though Christmas giving was so much higher than we expected. Please consider partnering with us so that we can continue to be a light to families serving the kids in the care in DFW. www.marismission.org
The donations that came in December far exceeded our goal and we are now able to offer even more annual passes to foster families in DFW!
If you’re a local foster family with a placement in your home, please contact us via www.marismission.org for more information.
(Passes will be given while funds last.)
